1 Pound Fresh Okra — topped and tailed
2 Medium Tomatoes — chopped
1 Cup Yellow Corn Meal
1/3 Cup Peanut Oil
Salt And Pepper — to taste

wash okra and cut into 1/2 inch rounds. add chopped tomatoes and cornmeal. stir in and make sure all okra is well coated with cornmeal. heat oil in large heavy skillet. fry ingredients for 5 minutes. turn over and fry until all ingredients are crisp and brown all over.
