2 Cups Split Peas
7 Cups Chicken Stock
1 Medium Bay Leaf
3 Teaspoons Caraway Seeds
1 Medium Jalapeno — Chopped
1 Large Onion — Chopped
2 Stalks Celery — Chopped
2 Medium Carrot — Chopped
3 Small Potatoes — Chopped
3 Cloves Garlic — Chopped
2 Teaspoons Hot Sauce
Salt And Pepper — To Taste
Directions
Combine stock, peas, bay leaf, caraway and jalapeno. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve.
