1/2 Cup Oil
1 Medium Onion — finely chopped
1 Small Bell Pepper — finely chopped
2 Teaspoons Garlic — finely chopped
16 Ounces Catsup
1/2 Cup Molasses
2 Teaspoons Hot Pepper Sauce
1/4 Cup Yellow Mustard
2 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar — packed
4 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoon Liquid Barbecue Smoke
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
Directions Place oil in saucepan, saute onion, pepper and garlic until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly for 30 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sauce from burning. Let rest for 1 hour to allow flavors to meld. Use with any meat.
